and what was the "right" way? Seems the quiet diplomacy we have tried thru the 30 or 40 odd years since Nixon/Kissinger opened our doors to China aided China much more than it aided the U.S. Capitalism proved itself to be just what the Communists always claimed "sell the rope to hang themselves with". Do not blame the Chinese; they gave us access to their cheap labor and our companies jumped at it. Now the years of quiet diplomacy trying to right the ship so we can have some crumbs from the relationship have yielded nothing. So again tell us, what is the "right" way??
