Subject: RE: Hydraulic down pressure

East Central, Nebraska
i wanted to try and control down and up pressure last year so i went with a pneumatic system. i was concerned that since i did not get my fall strips made, no till would be a challenge, so i thought this would be a great addition to my operation in those no till conditions. started piecing together used and ended up buying mostly new. i was happy with performance but am still not convinced it changed my life or really affected my bottom line. did it increase my yields? i have no idea. i grew good corn before i had it but last year was my greatest year yet. last year i was also not aware that agleader was going to do both up and down and had i known i would have waited. looks like a good system to me. if your running a kinze its likely you have a lot of the equipment needed anyhow.
