| This is from two different source's both who are involved in export trade but it is "second hand" info meaning they were told it by somebody that was told it FWIW .
China has agreed to buy and ship (if possible) 60 billion in US goods with in the 120 day period from today to the end of the 90 day hold period. If this is done and there can be meaningful ( whatever that means ) progress not only will the 25% tariff not be invoked but at the end of that time the 19% will come off also.
I have also been told that is basically the deal they offered in July but I have no knowledge of what they offered in July.
So again the peanut gallery has offered up what it knows. | |
