I have done this for several customers. The process is fairly lengthy, but it gives you an excellent report of yield in the end rows vs center of the field, or separate any other areas of the field. You first need to create a generic layer, that contains an attribute to distinguish headlands from the rest of the field. This has to be manually created/drawn, although you can do it with the buffer tool. Then you can generate a report/analysis based on yield, planting hybrid, and this generic layer. This allows you to compare single fields, or all fields in batch to get an overall yield comparison. We do SMS training every year and this is one process we usually share/cover.
