Subject: RE: Sprayer guidance

East Central, Nebraska
i have a customer that did y drop work with a hagie sprayer setting an a-b in field with planted rows and worked pretty well. he has skinny tires and was running on 30 inch rows. i believe he had a problem with is terrain compensation. this worked very well but when it got a little hilly he would shut it off. he was constantly getting some kind of terrain compensation error on the display.

even with all that said i would look into row feelers. i have no idea of the capability at high speeds but that would likely keep you were you need to be and allow you to go in on rows that maybe did not track the planter tractor all that well. problem is its like buying another guidance system for the same sprayer.

if you needed some convincing i am certain i could come up with multiple videos showing different people doing this on rtk only. the videos are out there just have never shared from facebook to here. i will see what i can do.
