I was talking about Mr. Trump's desire to have a government owned and operated news outlet to promote his agenda and defend him. That is basically what he is suggesting. He doesn't like the way he is portrayed in the media so he wants the government to start it's own outlet where they can control what is said. That is it in a nutshell. Does that not sound familiar? If not it's time to dust off the history books and do a little reading.
You're wasting your breath. State run TV would just feed them the information they want to hear to begin with. Anything that isn't a fluff fest for the President gets ignored already. Problem is that it starts with one channel, then slowly the others start getting picked away at in various ways until they can no longer exist and bam.....you only have state run news. |
