Considering every event has a different amount of energy, I think the event matters.
No sir. You have a pack of firecrackers in a building with a long fuse. You light the fuse with a cutting torch from outside the closed building and the spark lights the fuse releasing the energy in the firecrackers. Pop pop pop pop pop. Next we take the same building and length fuse but this time we replace the firecrackers with dynamite. This time we use a smaller event lighting with a paper match and BOOM! You are dead. The Event (lighting the fuse) does not matter, the amount of energy does.
