So 3000 acre farmer 1500 bean @50 BPA is 75,000 beans @$2.00 per bushel is $150,000 bean loss same size on Corn @ 200 is 300 I bu. @ .40 is another 120 k lost earnings That's $ 270 000.00 that will put people out of farming no matter what people want to preach. Add to that the effects of lost future pricing opportunities and how they can effect forward looking spread sheets . Not sure those people need you telling them it's all in their mind
Corn prices have not lost $.40 due to tariffs, we don't ship much corn to China. Prices would be in this range with the crop we've had. Those are projected ranges from many months ago.
Soybeans have not lost more than around $.50 when you include the tariff payment.
All normal.
