Mass confusion, which is typical. Tariffs remain, conspicuously no mention from the Chinese side, or our esteemed White House spokesperson, that soybean tariffs are removed, that would be a clear signal. I still think they might be coming in for some meat, soy tariffs are one of their few points of leverage, unless of course they want to sell Treasuries or something nuclear like that. Very confusing, especially with only the US side talking about the purchases. Why not a joint statement?
All that matters is how the soybean traders interpret it and we shall see soon enough. |
