The Frigidaire we have now was actually in the house when we moved in 11 years ago but its been on its last legs for at least 2 years now. Some folks like Bosch but they are more pricey than the others. Any ideas?

If you're categorically opposed to Bosch due to price, might want to look into a KitchenAid. We've had ours for nearly 12 years and it's been good to us. Very quiet.........tho probably not as much so as a Bosch....and does a good job on dishes, pots 'n' pans.
Time for a dishwasher.....what's NAT approved?
