Subject: RE: Pro 700 implement guidance

North Dakota
With a FM1000/FMX or a TMX2050 the simplest is to unlock the second receiver to the same level of accuracy as the first, then unlock Tru-Guide. Tru-Guide is passive implement steering. It simply gets you going with the regular antenna on the tractor then it switches over to the antenna on the implement and uses that for guidance. On the screen there are 2 lightbars one regular and one smaller for the implement. Works reasonably well and can use your 372 for the implement just unlock the second receiver without any accuracy unlocks. You can then input corrected GPS positions from the NAV into the pro700. The NAV will need to be reflashed to Trimble by AgExpress, about $100. you'll also need some cables.

For active steering like the Orthman hitch or steerable coulters you need a different unlock and a Nav mounted to the implement.
