swmn | Since you're using a 252, I'm assuming that you're going to be using a CNH display, such as a Pro600 or 700. If that is the case, you won't be using those connectors that are located back by the nav. Those are from a previous Trimble install that has apparently been removed. You'll plug the 252 into the twelve pin on the roof that is hopefully labled "Port A." If it's not you'll just have to plug one of the twelve pins into port A and if it works great, if not plug in the other one. The extra connector is there for getting GPS data to an ISO implement and doesn't have anything to do with guidance.
Hook the nav controller into the 24 and 40 pin connectors behind the seat and leave the other connectors alone. Make sure that the connectors on the nav are facing the door side of the cab and the fins are facing the rear of the tractor. If everything is still wired like it was when the tractor left the factory, you should be able to configure your guidance system on the display.
If you're using a Trimble display and 252 for a classic autopilot setup then disregard the above.
