| If you're a producer and have beans to sell, why would you want to buy a call. Won't you just sell the beans at the higher price? I would think that buying a put would be good risk management given how much beans have rallied today.
As for how far the price can run, you have to remember the basis will change as well so even a modest change in futures price along with a good change in basis might amount to something. | |
