Went thru that time period and saw local land go from $3000 to $1000/acre. Interest rate on my land loan went from 9% to 16% in less then 3 years. Sat on board of PCA and all we did is either foreclose on guys or wiped the slate clean as there was no way to collect. Won't be as bad this time but I am concerned we will see a shakeout this winter.
