Don't know where you are coming up with the 30% more to haul but if he is selling it at 25-30% moisture he is hauling about 16% extra water weight. If he figures it costs 10 cents to haul there, it is costing him an extra 1.6 cents for hauling. Thats not much compared to field loss, drying costs, or harvest delay. All corn is effectively sold as dry bushels, don't know why anybody talks about wet bushels, its meaningless.
