What caused it to jump that much ?
Our city created 2 positions out of thin air the last few years. The latest one for city administrator they just spent $19,000 for a firm to hire someone for them. The city clerk or whatever she is just got a 5% raise and a cost of living increase to $36/ hour or so. Everyone else got a similar raise I was told.
The wife also said the county portion of it went up 41%. Not sure why, but I'm sure slumping farm value might be a small part, but most of it is likely due to social services. The spending is just out of control. That's $330 a month just to these criminals. I am so damn sick of all the taxes. |
