I've posted mine so many times I figured people were tired of hearing it.

Here is my market plan.
Put it in the bin. Meter it out over the next 9 months or so.
That's the main plan.
Sometimes I get fancy and forward contract some if I like the price or if I am going to have a bigger crop than the bins will hold. Nearly all grain is contracted to end users 50-150 miles away although once in a while will sell some to a local Coop if they want it bad enough.
So who wants to hear something like that?
Most want to hear about options and hedges and futures and maybe some esoteric strangles and straddles and what have you.
I'm boring and I like it. I keep it simple. I used to use some of the tools, options and futures. Still have a brokerage account with a hundred bucks in it to keep it open but have not used it for going on ten years and don't plan on using it unless maybe I see double digits on corn or beans in the 20's.
