Oil is no different than any other commodity with a quality and location basis.
Exactly right. I spend summers up in BC. Alberta desperately wants to put in pipelines through BC. BC desperately wants to stop that - other than the politicians who want the money generated by getting the oil to market. Wherever the pipelines go, they follow major - and I mean major - rivers. Either the Frasier or the Skeena. Huge numbers of salmon come both of those rivers. And, oil pipelines always seem to break at some time in their lives. BC did just ok a NG pipeline to Kitimat (Skeena & Kitimat Rivers), but NG is not dirty oil. |
