Eastern Arkansas | Mine were basically brand new. They were depot level rebuilds. Really the only thing that was reused is the sheet metal and the frame.
The tandems were brand new. The allison transmission was new and the engine had a factory cummins Reman sticker on it. Every wire, hose, brake gauge, etc. is new.
As I said we have used them hard on the farm for 5 years and the only thing I have done is change the oil and put some tires on and a few very small things until I had to put a turbo on one this year. Great thing about them is no computers, the old school mechanics can work in them and parts are cheap. Pretty much every military specific part on them can be bought on eBay. | |
