Subject: RE: Local Fuel Markets.. and price disruptions.

West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
The overall average price of all fuel has been dropping here the past couple weeks. Road diesel has dropped almost $.30 cents since I started hauling.

The other stores are not losing money pricing 88 octane e-15 at $.04 under 87 octane regular. The other stores 88 octane e-15 price have dropped lock step with the price of their 87 octane.

$.31 over is a blatant rip off, and is another local attempt to make e-15 "not work here" IMO. The store manager can say the "market" didn't want e-15 here. Easy to do when there is no other competition in town. I wonder how many other stores are doing the same thing across the nation?

At $.31 over, the gasoline that's mixed with the ethanol will go bad long before they need to order another transport. And we all have been told over and over again about the many problems ethanol blends cause...the beat goes on.
