We have a couple steering valves that we no longer use. We were wondering if anybody could rebuild to something we use. One is on a 4850 and the other is on a 9230 CIH. We need one for a MX305. Is this something that can be done?

Assuming that the 4850 is a JD, the valve from that would probably be worthless for any other brand as the JD steering circuit used on those tractors is unique.

The valve from the 9230 might be useable on the 305, although I doubt any tech will want to install it. Pretty sure both tractors would use a closed centre load sensing system, but pressures and flows both for actual steering and the load sense portion would likely vary significantly. Trying to balance these things after the fact can eat up a lot of time.
