Altoona, WI | We picked one up cheap off of a FB swap and sell. They make superb hard boiled eggs. ½ cup of water. Use the steamer trivet thing in the bottom of the pot, and put as many eggs in as you want. Set it for 8 minutes. Once it is done, let it release pressure naturally for 3 minutes, they dump the steam and get the eggs into an ice water bath. They will be perfectly cooked, no green yokes, and 100% will peel like magic. We have an 8 quart and I bet I could hard boil 5 dozen eggs at a time with only ½ cup of water if I wanted to. | |
