Central Iowa | I know a lot of people who want to plant more corn but frozen ground/rain/snow is forcing them to sit. It's a tough decision. We still need another $0.55 cents to get back to $9 cash beans for 2019 fall delivery. Corn sits at $3.45 cash currently for 2019 fall delivery. I doubt anyone looks at the carryout numbers and will hold out for $10. Seems almost impossible without dropping harvested acres 5 mil.... which isn't impossible. Then add the hope and prayer of exports coming back at least a little bit. I think it's beer 30. | |
