Northwest IL | What has the price of corn and beans done the last couple years from Thanksgiving into the crop report in January? The last two years the crop got bigger into January, this year not sure it doesn't get smaller. If 19 beans could rally toward 10 I would think that buys some bean acres, even though more is not needed. With the $400 list price on seed corn, higher nh3, and higher fertilizer cost corn isn't great now either. Do prices need to go higher for either to get or lose acres? | |
