| On many issues the POTUS is doing well no doubt. But the soybean issue is a huge black eye. That said I think the tariffs to this point have cost us probably one dollar at most. Look at the yield reports in this site. Was bored this afternoon so scrolled through a lot of post. Looks like most of the key board warriors are looking at 240 and 65 for averages. If these numbers are true like most are claiming on here I’d say we’re lucky to have the prices we do. On another note a farm auctioned for 9700 an acre in my area. And it was four farmers bidding. Hard to convince the lunch box crew we have it that hard when that kind of money is thrown around. New pickups, new trucks, new combines new everything. I’m not trying to belittle anyone but there’s just a lot of generational wealth in this industry, and that makes some of these things we want a hard sell to the factory worker in town pulling 6-12’s. I’ve done that and farming 7.50 soybeans is still a better life. Lol
