Around here semi loads are usually 25-30¢ less than buying off the little truck. A half load is usually 2¢ more than a full load, so still good savings. Thing to remember is that it still needs to be bought right, as savings is not much if prices drop after you fill. Just like when to sell grain LOL. If you buy through your local dealer, they usually have some good insight on when to fill. Sounds like the 6000 gallon tank would be good to easily hold a half load, and could always be topped off after drawing some out. Tanker is usually 7500 gallon-ish.
