Micro$oft forces you, through your End User License Agreement, to keep your Windows updated - but you can put it off like the previous post said by labeling your internet connection as "Metered."
I have used Linux of various flavors for years, from the back-room server operator's favorite "Red-Hat", to SuSe (Sue-Say), to Ubuntu (which is the easiest for many to operate).
If you have a Win 10 computer, you can try Linux, and if you're not happy, you can return to Win 10.
