| i am a lot older than you I am guessing. You are doing a lot of the same things right. Two thing I did that I think are important are: 1) Work your kids into your farming schedule. The tractor cab is a good place to talk but a kid can only stay awake so long in you work at it you can find ways for even little kids to be helpful. As soon as they are valuable to you pay them for their work. 2) Make up for your absences in the off seasons vacations and attending school events can be caught up on in the winter and will create great memories. I think I must of done OK because they still talk to me and will vacation with me(Although I still pay their way.) I am slowing done a little on the farming so it is getting easier. | |
