And DG: Your post above convinced me to call Loup...I just ordered their Skyspeed unit...they say it will plug right in to the Outback. This probably won't help you, Mark, if you don't already have a GPS receiver on your rig. They were very helpful and easy to deal with.
This board is really great for getting these questions sorted out and helping the learning curve...thanks all.
