Chebanse, IL..... | Ted....or anyone, I think most tractor-based radars have a load capacity of additional signal-needing monitors, don't they? How does one know if they're getting satisfactory radar signal or robbing something already existing. Let's say you have a late-model factory-install tractor radar system...like in a new CNH, JD, or Buhler. They're already powering the dashboard & perhaps some "acreage computing" devices from the factory. Then we come along and add a Ravens monitor...then maybe also a planter monitor...all in simultaneous operation, potentially. I assume that at some point the radar can't power all these devices at once, right? What happens when radar gets overloaded? Well-how about the new speed-only gps devices, or a true full-blown gps rcvr....how many devices can they power? Finally-does a device such as your speed-only gps still need to be distance calibrated to counting devices, such as Ravens monitors, Micro-Trak, monitors or many planter monitors? I assume it's not just plug-n-play, right? Thanks |
