So you would be 'buying' in on the liquid asset side of things and not the fixed asset side of things. Sounds like a bad deal to me. Tell him you are interested ONLY if you can buy into the fixed asset side of the operation.. ie the LAND . All the other things are really current ( liquid ) assets.. so would really just be loaning him money to cash flow the operation. As others have said.. sounds like he's struggling to keep his head above water and he sees you as lifeboat. Don't go down with the ship! |
