Subject: Yield Editor and APEX

Western Nebraska
Yield Editor requires .txt files to read harvest data but I am having issues exporting in the correct format from APEX. I have read through the Yield Editor PDF guide and cannot seem to get a file from harvest to load (except for their samples that were provided).

I have used the 'batch export' options within APEX to create the shape files as well as .CSV files for all fields. Is there another method to getting the .CSV files into .TXT without manually cleaning and exporting? I have tried to export from Excel to .TXT but Yield Editor is still unable to read the files. Is there a way to export directly from APEX into a .TXT file that I am missing?

My end goal is to clean up the yield data in order to write prescriptions using clean maps.

Is there other software that I could or should be exploring?

I am also curious if my mistake was exporting harvest data from the GS2630 to APEX periodically throughout harvest so that we didn't lose any data, meaning I don't have one USB drive or display that has the original data directly from the combine.

This is my first year in agriculture's please forgive my ignorance.
