Subject: Wow it is REALLY COLD out there,, 4 degrees in Garden City

So we still don't have our wheat out of the ground.. we've already had more snow this "fall" then the previous 2 winters combined.. and there's still ALOT of crops yet to bring in.

... and yet the markets are lower this morning?

It's 4 degrees this morning in Garden City.. 7 degrees at Great Bend.. it was only supposed to get down to 15 degrees here.

Yal we probably still have some cover..??  but any emerging wheat at those temperatures would probably cook it..??

We're suppose to be sunny and warm up.. but golly.. it has to STOP getting worse first..  It's going to be Real interesting to see the crop progress and ratings later today..

US HRW production is almost 160 million bushels behind usage.. 17/18 production of 662 million bushels.. usage of 820..  With Big chunks of Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas not even planted yet..

I don't see how it's the cheapest wheat on the board...   ???  Especially in THESE conditions...

After a Crop comes up... then maybe.. but golly with all the brown dirt out there..  ???
