nw/nc iowa on the banks of West Buttrick Creek.. | Was reading wiki tonite about CHS and came across this comment, "Harvest States Cooperatives was the largest recipient of federal farm subsidies in Minnesota between 1995 and 2012, having received over $48 million, mostly in the form of commodity subsidies.[8]". Harvest States Coop was the previous name of CHS. What are the subsidies for, Dairy? Enlighten me, please.
