Subject: In my 46 crops I have never had this happen.

N.E. Iowa
This is my 46th crop and this is the first year where I won't get a single tire turned in fall tillage.
With my ground if I don't work it up in the fall it's terrible in the spring.
All ready planing on a terrible crop next year on top of the poor price. Lot's to look forward too next year.
I was fortunate to get all my crop harvested this fall before it rained again for 5 days.
What yields I have heard of are way down due to the huge amount of rain we had all year mine included.
My guess is at the most 20% of the corn here has been harvested so far.
The ground here was wet and very soft before we got all that rain, too soft for harvest in most areas all though some were trying and leaving huge ruts and getting stuck.
Now it's froze too deep for tillage. I still haven't seen any combines going lately but maybe this week it will be froze deep enough for them to go.
I'm giving up this week on getting anything else done this fall.
