| I have a Sako .243 that’s just a gem. Light to carry, no recoil, shoots exceptional. So much more refined than all the Remington 700’s I’ve owned over the years. Iowa went straight wall cartridge for deer last year, and I love it. So far I really, really, enjoy my new Henry lever action in .41 magnum. Again, no recoil. And cheap to shoot if I reload, which I do. Recently acquired a new in box model 94 Big bore in .375 win. It only weighs 6 lbs. Can carry cradled in one arm. Should be deadly on deer out to 150 yards. The sectional density on .375 bullets is superb. One of the very few calibers allowed that can actually utilize a rifle bullet instead of pistol bullets, therefor the BC is superior also. Recoil gonna be a little more stout I’m expecting, haven’t shot it yet. Going with Speer 235 grain HotCor’s in spire point. It will be a stand gun up in a tree, so only need one in the magazine.
