Fruita CO | My wife got a couple huge chicken breasts at Safeway the other day, at the butcher counter. I split them & did them on the grill, just marinated them in barbecue sauce for 30 min. or so. Best chicken we've had in a long time, very tender. I have no idea what the source was, but they were good.
We lunch eat at Applebee's fairly often, it's next door to her office building. The manager came by one day & chatted us up, as they probably have to do. My wife mentioned the chicken in her salad being rubbery, she's not shy about that kind of stuff...the manager apologized & said "I know it's a problem, we just can't get good chicken any more".
