Boone, Iowa | I swapped out both Ethernet cables, but didn’t help. I took the router out of the loop and ran a cable from the Dish modem to my desktop. The blue lights are showing the modem is working, although I’m still not getting an internet connection. I took my tower to Geek Squad and we can get internet connection, so it must be something before the tower. I hooked everything back up cab called DishNet support. He had me unplug Ethernet cable to the tower and power cords to the router and modem. Powering back up, I still wasn’t getting internet connection. We unhooked router and hooked modem directly to the tower and still didn’t work. He was able to tell me that I was getting signal to my computer and I was on a Dell computer. He is sending a new modem that will be here in a couple days. Hope this fixes the problem. | |
