If you have variability in your fields, VR seed and fertilizer can help your bottom line. Potentially save on fertilizer, but many times it is just a shift within the field. However that can help production in those best parts of the field that ran out of fertility. I have yet to write a VR seed map that used more seed than straight rate, because everyone plants for the best part of the field. Most of the time in corn, seed drops by 5-10%. It all depends on the field. If you have any questions, let me know. If you are thinking about going to Commodity Classic, I will be there.
