East central Iowa | Gro-Mor Farms, that is exactly what I started doing 5 years ago. I put 150 to 250 lbs. of same mix on. That is how all my P,K and some of N gets put on. All no-till for years. Whats neat is you have a 10 inch band of incorporated fert.
I've never noticed any seed burn issue. the seed is always 1 inch or more below the fert. I do run my row cleaners more aggressive than some do but this keeps the seed bed clean and smooth. I rent most of my acres so this keeps fert. cost down.
My yields are always as good or a little better than others next to me.
