NW Washington | Was it styptic powder or a solid? I used to used a styptic pen to stop bleeding from shaving nicks. Alum will stop bleeding too. You can buy stuff in drug stores to stop bleeding too, stuff like Wound Stop and others.
I now have to take the blood thinner warfarin and that makes bleeding a problem so I have been using an electric razor. No nicks in 12 years.
