Your book does not change BUT interpretations of it do change.
For instance that is why believers claimed the earth was the centre of the universe until it was shown not to be and then the interpretations changed even though the words did not.

I am not aware of anywhere in the Bible where it says the earth is the center of the universe (or any other planet or star). Very possible that some Christians believed that but that does not say that the Bible says that.

And of course evolution which has been shown to be true many times over and yet the old book still talks of 'creating' all these life forms except the ones people did not know about at the time it was written, like dinosaurs, so interpretation had to be used again.

The book of Job refers to dinosaurs.

This all knowing 'god' that was responsible for that book missed out on a lot of knowledge
Since it was supposed to be all knowing why did it not know that Adam and Eve which BTW it created several times in different ways, would eat of the 'forbidden fruit' ?

Adam and Eve were only created once as told in the Bible. God created humans to bring honor and glory to Himself. If someone is forced to do something there is no honour or respect given to the person who gave the command. God made man with the power of choice, you and i can choose how we live our lives. When we live according to God's Word we bring honour and glory to Him.


You do not understand evolution if you believe that.
Evolution has no plan to make things better it is only what survives that goes on to produce the next generation.
No need for it to be 'better' .

Now we come to this 'heaven and hell' story with no evidence that either exist.
The 'heaven' used to exist in the firmament.

There are plenty of stories from Doctors, Emergency Rooms, First Responders to validate a Heaven and Hell.

And you should check up on the history of the 'Golden Rule' which is the basis of all the good things you note about the old book.
The Golden Rule existed long before the old book was written or even thought about.
But of course interpretations of the old book now point out what should have been obvious long ago that slavery, although permitted in the old book, is not allowed under the golden rule of treating others as you wish to be treated.
