South Eastern VA | Those bales are wrapped in plastic. The big rectangle bales are covered with tarps. They sit in the field until the truck comes to get them. From there they sit in the lot of the pictures I showed ya.
From there they go to the gin for processing. I don’t know how long that takes, I just know there is a giant pile of the unwanted by product...stems and leaves and what not.
If those bales get wet they fall apart and quadruple in weight. Lol | |
