| You could have signed up for PLC instead of ARC. PlC is more of a price safety net and would have enabled you to take SCO insurance buyup on any year you want. SCO is more like ARC which is why you need to pick and choose certain years where you think it would pay. Some areas will be big winners this year where they had both PLC in 2017 and SCO in 2018 where low yield and low prices combined to produce big payout . It is a game that you can play like the lotto or futures.
