Subject: Liquid fertilizer on Crustbuster drill?

What is the best way to apply starter fertilizer in the furrow on my Crustbuster drill? I’ve tried rebounders and my drill had stainless tubes but they were bent up so I was very enthused about the rebounder but they just bend up the bracket also it’s like they take the place of the scraper and dirt piles underneath them .I suppose I’ll have to go back to just a tube?i like the idea of having something pressing down in the trench plus it put the fertilizer right there too.Anybody got the real deal?
