Donnellson, IA. Makes saying here easier. | We have always done fertilizer ahead of soybean. Now that we strip till we have gotten even more specific to the expected yield of them. I couldn't find any pics this morning of what some beans looked like this summer when I had a row plugged on my gladiator for about 3 rounds. I was always told corn loves fertilizer soybeans like fertility, but we see a response especially in late season K numbers in tissue samples. I run 20N and 15-20S(10 from dry 10 from starter....yes soybean starter) and have see great results. Especially on our late March and early April soybeans. We zone fertilizer for 40-100 bushel beans depending on soil and 6-7 years of soybean yield data. |
