Noticed same here at local E plant Deere6. Even after this summers expansion to double their capacity, they are posting a lot of half days and TBD hours already this fall. Past several years they have been practically a drive thru at harvest time and harvest like traffic in January. Not sure what it all means, but feels like a big crop here.

How many days did they miss running when they were expanding? Probably buying some corn that wasn't getting crushed then. Just a guess, but I can see where they could start full and until they get things dialed in I doubt they're anywhere near capacity so far.

Farmer bins have definitely changed the dynamics of harvest, you can see it west of you too. The past few years, harvest activity at local e-plants and feed mills was slow and January/March/June/September have been super busy because guys are emptying bins.

Does Marion get all of your corn? Are the big feeders competitive with them in your area?
