north west arkansas | I haven't seen hardly any protein blocks or tubs that offer much in way of minerals. IMO they also need a balanced mineral and depending on consumption possibly salt also. There is no one size fits all. Every set of cattle on every different farm in every different season is different. Sometimes they are needing minerals and sometimes they need more salt. Personally I'm I big believer in a good mineral program but honestly I sometimes wonder that most all cattle have more then enough and we are probably wasting a lot of money. | |
