Central Nebraska | Future Farmer11 - 10/14/2018 09:57 When I connect wireless to the Office router, I get an IP of 192.168.88.225 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. But hardwired I get an IP of 169.254.149.249 and a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0 and I don't get any internet though the hardwire? I changed my settings to obtain an IP automatically on the hardwire. Which one do I use for the antennas?
The 169 address really means you are not getting an address. Which port of the Mikrotik are you using? I have a few of them in service and quit using them because they are frustrating. Make sure you're in a LAN port and also make sure that the LAN port is configured correctly. I'm not up to speed on telling you how to do that right now. You need to use the 192.168.88.x subnet. |
