Being able to shift trucking from October till after harvest makes a huge difference in the availability of truck. Even if the trucking cost is equal if I can get 4 trucks to haul out of a bag in December it's a lot better use of my time than trying to haul away from the combine with one or two trucks during harvest and having the combine sit half the time waiting on trucks.
